Dial-up Instructions
Installing TreeWalk for your Dial-up Internet Connection provides many advantages. This page is intended for those Dial-up users who may need a graphical interpretation of the steps listed on our FAQ page under "How do I use TreeWalk on Dial-up?". If you have determined that TreeWalk is not resolving names to localhost
after using the "Check config", "Check server" and the Windows "netstat -an" command, you may need to create a new Dial-up Internet Connection icon. We've included pictorial examples for Windows 2000 Professional SP4, XP SP2 and generic graphics for 95/98/Millennium which will guide you through the appropriate set-up wizard to recreate your Dial-up connection and place a shortcut on your desktop. If this does not help solve your
problems, please visit our forums for further assistance. Windows XP SP2
The Windows XP Dial-up page also requires additional loading time. These Windows XP TreeWalk Dial-up Instructions are also available in the Portable Document Format (.pdf). If you don't have a reader for the Portable Document Format try a Google PDF Reader search. Windows 2000 Professional SP4
The Windows 2000 Dial-up page and graphics have been modified to provide the best page-loading speed, but will require some additional time to load with a dial-up connection. Please be patient! You may also view the Windows 2000 TreeWalk Dial-up Instructions in the Portable Document Format (.pdf). Windows 95/98/ME
These Operating Systems require the BIND-LE version available from our Downloads page. The generic Windows 98 Dial-up guidelines provided for these systems may require some additional loading time. These Windows 98 TreeWalk Dial-up
Instructions are also available in the Portable Document Format (.pdf). |
