Forums, Newsgroups & Feeds

"New, Intermediate and Advanced users of the FREE version of the TreeWalk Personal DNS Caching Server" are invited to join in discussions in the forums and place support questions in the ntc.config.discuss forum. Licensed users should continue to contact the TreeWalk site for private email support but are always encouraged to participate in general discussions or to use the ntc.support.questions forum provided for you. (And, if you've used TreeWalk DNS for a while and approve of all the dedication required to bring this program and it's plug-ins to life, please write a friendly line or two in the ntc.config.discuss forum to tell the World what you think!) Posting in the TWDNS Groups: TreeWalk forums and newsgroups provide TreeWalk users with access to shared help and advice in the ntc.config.discuss forum. If you're going to post a message asking for help with your TreeWalk problem, please be sure to include some specific details about your computer (memory and processor speed), Operating System, connection type (how you connect to the Internet), third party software (anti-virus, anti-Trojan, firewall, anti-scripting, etc.), the version of TreeWalk (or BIND-LE) you're using from the TreeWalk Read Me file provided in the program icon group (located in the "docs" folder), networking configuration and hardware, and any relevant error messages or other useful information. This will benefit support to find a solution to your problem as soon as possible. (Also review the forum FAQ page or "Posting Tips" below.)

The forums and newsgroups listed on this page contain exactly the same postings but offer a choice of access method via browser, news reader or RSS/Atom. Currently there are no requirements to register at the site as a user. However, a number of additional features have been introduced (such as "Own Article Delete" and Avatar/X-Face support) that require replying to a registration URL sent via email.

Atom Feeds| [Valid ATOM OPML] Separate Atom feeds are provided at all Web forum base pages. This OPML link is for Atom capable news aggregators. RSS| [Valid RSS] This XML link is for RSS capable clients to import all Web forum base pages (such as Mozilla Thunderbird).

TreeWalk was co-developed by NT Canuck and ObiWan, and continues to be maintained and updated by ObiWan. The site and servers are maintained by the TreeWalk DNS Crew. TreeWalk and any companion programs provided from this site are completely risk-free and will never be affiliated with any form of spyware or adware. In fact, we go to great lengths to inform our users on how to generally enhance their computer security over-all.
